Description
- Collaborating with the management team to understand financial needs and provide strategic financial insight.
- Developing financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
- Overseeing the financial planning and budgeting processes for the company.
- Assisting with the preparation of board and shareholder communications, where appropriate.
- Working with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
- Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Guiding the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
- A strong educational background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in financial modelling and analysis, ideally within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on forecasting and budgeting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial data in a clear and concise manner.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial planning software.
