Award winning contract caterer are looking to their kitchen brigade with experienced Chef's to supervise the inmate kitchen at Bollingdon Prison
The successful Sous Chef Supervisor for;
- Monitoring the all stations in the kitchen ensuring that hot & cold food is made safely, in line with company specifications
- Supervise vetted & enhanced prisoners working on grill, food prep, hot, cold sections
- Monitor stock levels making sure that stores has the correct produce
- Train and lead the kitchen brigade
- Training junior members of the brigade mentoring on cooking practices & food safety
- Support back office functions were needed
- Completing admin functions where needed
- Working the companies hours; Monday to Sunday, 4 on 4 off, 6am – 6pm

Required experience & characteristics of the Chef Supervisor
- Experienced working in a professional kitchen a
- Current valid DBS
- 5 year checkable history (no gaps longer than 28days)
- Superb knife skills and comfortable boning, rolling, feathering & portioning to spec
- Reliable & conscientious
- Good command of the English language
- Courteous, polite & professional
