Demand / Forecasting Planner (please note this is not a hybrid role, it’s working in the office Monday to Friday).

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in forecasting demand, ensuring that our supply chain operates smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a deep understanding of market trends, inventory management, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to align demand with supply capabilities.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales input.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather insights and validate forecasts.
  • Utilise advanced forecasting systems and tools, to analyse data and generate reports.
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust forecasts as necessary to optimise stock availability while minimising excess inventory.
  • Conduct regular reviews of forecast accuracy and implement improvements where needed.
  • Vaticinate future demand patterns by analysing market conditions and customer behaviour.
  • Prepare presentations for management to communicate demand planning strategies and outcomes.
