As an Associate Commercial Director you’ll be responsible for…
Supporting the growth of the business and leading the delivery of commercial services including the setting up and managing cost plans. Projects across a varied portfolio including the major infrastructure for new towns and settlements.
This will include:
- Assessing financial, technical and operational risks
- Reviewing expenditure during all phases of a project
- Analysing data that can affect costs
- Working CAD
- Taking measurements on CostX
- Providing a holistic plan including measuring and rates
- Managing, estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan.
- Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
- Being a key interface with client, stakeholders and other consultants at all project stages.
- Handling of contractual frameworks and standard form of contract.
- Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates, products and hence improve the services provided to the clients.
- Identifying and acting upon ways to improve internal systems and processes.
Must haves…
- Consultancy experience, including cost planning, budgeting and estimating
- Thought-leader in the space
- Confidence in managing client relationships
