**About the Role**

As a 121 Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to students with learning difficulties within the classroom by following their EHCP. Not only will you be providing academic guidance, you will also be there to provide social & emotional development support too. Working together with the class teacher, you will feedback progress towards targets to tailor your approach towards individual students.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Work alongside teachers to create alternative learning options
  • Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Give 121 support to students who may be struggling
  • Follow learning plans and tailor resources to reflect these

**Qualifications and Skills**

  • Prior experience with children is preferred
  • Capable of adapting to various classroom settings
  • Strong communication skills for building and nurturing connections
  • Committed to offering excellent support
  • Actively involved in engaging with children
  • Be proactive
