This school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate and enthusiastic about supporting children with SEN. In this role you will be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support the learning and development of SEN pupils through 1:1 sessions, small group work, and classroom support. What you'll need to succeed

  • NVQ Level 1 Qualification in supporting Teaching and Learning or experience working in a classroom setting
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is an advantage.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
