HR Advisor sought to join an award-winning, £multimillion turnover food manufacturing company based in Bilston. They are a privately owned company who supply numerous sectors including foodservice, retail, wholesale and catering, both in the UK and abroad.The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s People function, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices, and administrative tasks to enhance organisational efficiency.As HR Advisor, your day-to-day duties will include:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all people-related matters, engaging in various aspects of the employee life cycle.
  • Advise, coach and support line managers on performance management, employee relations, HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Effectively support and manage employee relations cases.
  • Guide managers in addressing sickness absence cases.
  • Implement initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.
  • Collect and analyse employee data to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with Home Office sponsorship requirements and right-to-work checks.
  • Manage and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and orientation sessions to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Manage HR administration tasks.
  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives that align with our organisational goals.
  • Champion and promote company’s organisational values.
The successful HR Advisor will demonstrate:
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • CIPD qualified to a minimum of Level 3.
  • Proficient in Office 365.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and approachable with a 'can-do' flexible attitude towards work requirements.
