Our client is established raw materials manufacturer and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

The Maintenance Engineer will undertake planned and reactive electrical and some mechanical maintenance work on a Monday to Friday (days) based role at our client's production facility near Bilston.

The Role:

Reporting to the Works Engineer you will be responsible for the 'day to day' electrical and some mechanical maintenance, service and repair of production plant & machinery.

You will be required to maintain equipment including but not limited to the following;

  • Maintenance and repair mixing machinery, extruders, cutting and cooling plant,
  • Single & 3 phase electrical fault find and repair machinery breakdown and repair motors, controls, etc etc
  • Facilities maintenance

Candidate:

You will be an experienced maintenance engineer ideally with a recognised mechanical and / or electrical engineering qualification.

You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of 3 phase electrics, and control panels for pneumatic and hydraulic machinery.

You will be hard working, enthusiastic and highly motivated as essentially this will be a maintenance role of your own making.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm (1 Hour Lunch)
