Are you an experienced Estimator from the Construction or Engineering sector? Are you looking to join a rapidly expanding company and transition over to the Renewable Energy sector that encourage training and development opportunities?
This company work hard to assist their customer base with improving the energy efficiency for their homes and businesses. They offer a variety of services, including solar panel and air source heat pump installation and insulation work, with a focus on reducing carbon emissions and combatting fuel poverty in the UK. The company holds several important accreditations that demonstrate its competence and commitment to the quality of their work. They are now looking to expand their team with an experienced Estimator to assist with their expected growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for mostly domestic projects by analysing drawings and specifications. You will work closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders to ensure necessary information is communicated and gathered for accurate estimations. You will prepare reports and presentations summarising estimated costs for review and assist the development of project budgets and financial forecasts.
The ideal candidate should hold experience within Estimating and come from a construction, engineering or renewable energy background.

The Role:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects by analysing drawings, specifications and other documentation.
* Conduct site visits to assess conditions that may impact project costs.
* Assist in the development of project budgets and financial forecasts.
* Training and progression opportunities available with a rapidly growing company.
* 37.5 hour working week (9am - 5pm).
The Person:
* Holds previous experience within Estimating and ideally from a construction, engineering or renewable energy background.
* Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices.
* Hold a driving licence and able to commute to office in Birkenhead Monday to Friday.
