Are you an Accounts Assistant or similar, with a Purchase Ledger background, looking for a stable and secure role within a manufacturing company who will invest in your progression and who invests in their employees by offering excellent benefits and a positive work environment?

In this role, you will liaise directly with the Finance Manager with various accounting tasks, including processing purchase ledger invoices, credit notes, and sales ledger invoices. You will also be required for reconciling and matching supplier invoices. Finally, you will be in charge of recording expenses linked to projects and monitor stocks.

This role would suit an Accounts Assistant or similar, with a Purchase Ledger background, looking for a stable role within a friendly business who will offer progression and training opportunities as well as great benefits like early Friday finishes, company socials and incentives.

The Role:

  • Assisting the Finance Manager
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices, credit notes and sales ledger invoices
  • Bank reconciliation and assist with end of year reports
  • Sage 50
  • Monday to Thursday 8-4.30pm, Friday 8-3.15pm

  • Accounts Assistant or similar
  • Purchase Ledger background
  • Commutable to Birkenhead
