The role:

- Working as a Teaching Assistant within a Year 1 classroom, supporting pupils with ASD & ADHD

- Hours 8:30am - 3:30pm

- Based within an Ofsted rated 'Good' 1-form entry school in Birkenhead

- Pay rates between 95.00- 100.00 per day

The responsibilities:

- You will be working alongside the class teacher, supporting pupils and teacher both inside and outside the classroom

- Possessinga resilient attitude with good behaviour management techniques

- Undertaking admin tasks such as photocopying and playground duty

- Taking small groups of children for planned interventions such as phonics sessions

- Working 1:1 with children who require extra support with their curriculum-based learning

- Creating eye-catching displays for the classroom

- Upholding the school's ethos, contributing positively to children's education.

- Fostering a love of learning within ALL pupils.
