Join our friendly team at a vibrant university in Birmingham city centre as a Fees and Funding Support Officer, ensuring smooth and efficient services for everyone.Main ResponsibilitiesPlay a key role in organising and delivering Fees and Funding services, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time, contributing to a positive and supportive experience for our university community.Assist with the administration of student funding processes, including keeping accurate records with funding bodies such as SLC.Ensure the SITS system is regularly updated with accurate information regarding student fees and funding data.Provide friendly, high-quality customer service to students, staff, and other stakeholders.Proactively address and resolve issues and queries, prioritising tasks to ensure everything is handled efficiently.Person SpecificationExperience using a corporate student record system, particularly SITS.Experience in handling and resolving inquiries through an online help desk system.Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and solve operational problems effectively.Experience in Microsoft excel is essential and or experience in a similar role is essential.
