Associate Director

Your new companyOur client is one of the major international banks with a significant footprint in Birmingham.

Your new roleAs Associate Director, you will support the Midlands region in delivering debt-led, bespoke funding solutions, mainly for complex and event-driven opportunities e.g. an MBO or an acquisition. The client base is small to medium-sized enterprises and more often than not, their financial systems and information are not "debt ready" and therefore there is a significant amount of investigation, financial analysis and modelling to help appraise the opportunity.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will be a chartered accountant who has trained in practice and developed post-qualification experience in either corporate banking or corporate finance. You will need to have excellent communication and analytical skills, with a "forensic" approach to lending.

What you'll get in returnAlthough the role will be based out of the Birmingham office, this is a hybrid role, where you can work for the majority of your week from home and with some face to face time with your Midlands client base.
