Your new companyOur client is one of the major international banks with a significant footprint in Birmingham.

Your new roleAs Associate Director, you will support the Midlands region in delivering debt-led, bespoke funding solutions, mainly for complex and event-driven opportunities e.g. an MBO or an acquisition. The client base is small to medium-sized enterprises and more often than not, their financial systems and information are not "debt ready" and therefore there is a significant amount of investigation, financial analysis and modelling to help appraise the opportunity.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will be a chartered accountant who has trained in practice and developed post-qualification experience in either corporate banking or corporate finance. You will need to have excellent communication and analytical skills, with a "forensic" approach to lending.

What you'll get in returnAlthough the role will be based out of the Birmingham office, this is a hybrid role, where you can work for the majority of your week from home and with some face to face time with your Midlands client base. Our client can also offer an excellent benefits package, including a car allowance, bonus and a good pension scheme.
