Based in comfortable offices with on-site parking, the company is predominantly office-based and offers great benefits.Your new roleThe company is looking to recruit an experienced Company Accountant due to the retirement of the current Accountant. The role will report to the Directors and manage a team of 2 people. This is a classic A-Z accountancy role and incorporates all the duties of a busy SME department. Key duties will include preparation of the monthly management accounts, VAT returns, overseeing cash flow, budgets and forecasting. You will also prepare the financial statements and liaise with the external accountants. Further duties include monthly payroll for the team using Sage payroll. What you'll need to succeedWe are looking to speak with either fully Qualified or qualified experienced accountants who are happy on-site in a busy SME environment. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare a payroll and have previous working knowledge of Sage.
