The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the financial statements and reporting. Principal accountabilities will include producing financial statements, audit and tax compliance, quarterly reporting and analysis.

Description
- Preparation of the financial statements including year-end reporting and audit and tax support to the Group Financial Controller
- Complete a full set of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying any issues and implementing changes to ensure issues are resolved
- Ownership of the Fixed Asset Register, including depreciation postings and resolution of capital issues
- Complete the quarterly VAT return
- Prepare the Luxembourg branch GAAP accounts including tax support and other regulatory reporting
- Complete the quarterly and annual VAT return for the Luxembourg branch
- Ownership of the payment and reconciliation process for the Luxembourg branch payroll
- Assist with the Financial Accounting for other Group entities as and when required, with oversight from the Group Financial Controller
- Contribute to overall governance, regulatory and administrative requirements
- Work collaboratively with the Group Finance Director, Group Finance team members and other group functions to support the firm and business in the delivery of high quality internal and external service.
Profile
- Chartered Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Strong IT skills - MS Excel (e.g. Pivot tables, Vlookup and charts), Word and other reporting tools
- Exemplary attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Experience of working to tight, statutory deadlines
- Taxation experience (desirable)
- Ability to demonstrate professional integrity
- An effective team member, productive with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills; willingness to listen to others and challenge constructively
- Knowledge and experience of business / finance procedures.
