Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:

  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the company's financial records through reconciliation and financial accounting activities.
  • Prepare timely and robust financial statements and reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the preparation of VAT returns and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Support the production of subsidiary accounts and contribute to year-end statutory reporting.
  • Mentor and coach junior members of the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial controls and reporting frameworks.
  • Ensure all financial processes are documented and kept up to date.
About you:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong background in financial accounting and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
