Mitchell Adam are currently supporting a well known property business based in Birmingham city centre who are searching for an Interim Senior Property Accountant to support the finance function for a 3 month contract with potential to extend.

You will be responsible for your clients property portfolio, reconciling the service charge and creating/amending the budgets and completing recharges as required as well as assisting with year end. On a monthly basis, you will also be completed bespoke reporting for your clients from accruals and prepayments, to P&L and balance sheet reconciliations. As well as supporting the Client Accounting Team.

Ideally, you will;

  • Be a qualified or part qualified accountant ACCA/CIMA.
  • Have previous experience within the Accounts department within the property sector.
  • Be a confident communicator, as the business-partnering element of your role will be to liaise with clients and senior stakeholders regularly.
  • Be system savvy, due to the reporting a good level of Excel is needed alongside the use of bespoke client systems.
