Some of the key responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control manufacturing costs, analyse production costs, and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets, update forecasts, and analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain robust internal controls.
- Internal Communications: Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Financial Systems: Maintain and improve financial accounting systems and processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle), with advanced Excel skills.
- Qualifications: Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA
