Management Accountant - Birmingham
Permanent - Up to £45k
We are supporting a client in the Manufacturing industry who are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance Team on a full-time permanent basis.
This vacancy is based on site but offering free on-site parking and some fantastic benefits! Salary is dependent on experience but ranging up to £45,000pa.
This is a hands-on role that requires someone to roll their sleeves up and someone who is extremely motivated as there will be long term progression and growth opportunities. This vacancy does offer study support to anyone actively studying CIMA/ACCA.
Responsibilities as a Management Accountant:
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigations.
- Monthly bank, credit card and cash reconciliations with responsibility for employee expenses process.
- Responsible for overseeing Accounts payable and cover and providing day to day support to junior finance member.
- Hands on credit control and accounts receivable responsibility.
- Actively involved in annual company insurance renewal processes and day to day contact for vehicle insurance queries.
- Prepare VAT returns for review and submission.
- Liaise with auditors as part of the year end process.
- Other ad hoc tasks and provide support the Head of Finance.
Requirements of the role:
- Candidates must either be ACCA/CIMA qualified of actively studying towards this.
- Previous experience within a SME/Manufacturing business would be desirable but not essential.
- Strong Microsoft Office/Excel experience.
- Previously worked as a Management Accountant.
