A well-established leader in its industry is seeking a Financial Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting, enhance accounting processes, and support the business's ambitious growth trajectory in a forward-thinking and collaborative environment.
?? Location: Birmingham?? Position: Financial Accountant?? Full-Time?? Salary: £50,000 to £57,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting to meet both corporate and statutory requirements
- Prepare monthly management accounts and lead the preparation of annual statutory accounts
- Coordinate the budgeting process and quarterly financial forecasts
- Monitor and forecast cash flow on a monthly basis, ensuring efficient resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with VAT
- Lead and mentor a team of two accounting professionals, maintaining effective ledger operations
- Provide senior management with accurate and timely financial data to inform strategic decisions
- Continuously improve financial processes and controls to ensure operational excellence
- Fully qualified in ACA or ACCA
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
