Mitchell Adam are thrilled to announce a brand new job opportunity for a management accountant in the Black Country area. Our client is a successful and fast-growing manufacturing business that has been dominating the market this past year. They are looking for a hard working and outgoing individual, with some exposure to month end, to join their current finance team. If successful you will be given a mentor who will ensure your path to professional succession and progress is smooth.
This role requires you to have a strong foundation of experience in transactional accounting as well as some exposure to the management account packs. You will be exposed to: revenue recognition, journal adjustments, working on rebates, accruals, prepayment and balance sheet reconciliations. Once fully trained you will also be given the opportunity to aid the FC with the budgeting.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about accounting and wanting to gain more exposure with management accounting and month end. The current finance team has a friendly family dynamic; therefore, the successful applicant will need to be a friendly and hardworking individual who will want to be part of this work family.
What you'll need:
- To be actively studying towards your chosen qualification, the employer will offer study support with this.
- Have prior experience working with prepayments, accruals, AP and AR.
- The ability to make connections and express yourself clearly, this will be crucial when dealing with stakeholders.
- Be located within the Black Country area as this is a full time in the office role.
