Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to take charge of all financial and accounting activities, including the production of monthly management accounts. What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in steering all financial and accounting activities. Your responsibilities will include leading on the production of monthly management accounts and ensuring that all financial policies are adhered to. You will also be tasked with delivering key business reporting and understanding variances to budget. Your ability to train operational teams in the use of business reporting and KPIs will be crucial in improving their financial performance. Furthermore, your involvement in overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process will be instrumental in driving success.

  • Lead on the production of monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure adherence to all financial policies, procedures, processes, and statutory requirements.
  • Support the Finance Business Partner and manage other members of the Finance team.
  • Partner with other departments to provide accurate, up-to-date financial information.
  • Deliver analysis of key business reporting such as dashboards, month-end reports, business reviews, client reports, budgets, flash forecasts and other ad-hoc analysis.
  • Understand variances to budget and monitor initiative delivery plans.
  • Assist in training operational teams in the use of business reporting and KPIs.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process for the venue.
  • Attend client finance meetings when required.
