Are you looking for a new Senior Management Accountant position? Do you have experience in financial reporting and analysis? We're looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our clients Group Finance Team and help drive financial success across the business.
As part of the dynamic and collaborative team, you will work closely with the Finance Manager, ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly management accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior role in the finance function, with ample scope for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly Management Accounts: Complete monthly management accounts for group companies within a timely manner, ensuring accurate consolidation and reporting of the company's financial results.
- Management Account Packs: Prepare and deliver monthly management account packs, including detailed analysis and variance reports
- Variance Analysis: Provide insights on financial performance by analysing variances and highlighting key trends. Work closely with the Finance Manager to help drive improvements and meet financial targets.
- Forecasting: Responsible for cash flow forecasting and updating forecasts in response to business changes. Regularly update and amend forecasts to reflect the evolving financial landscape.
- Departmental Support: Guide and support department heads to ensure the subsidiary companies meet financial targets, providing weekly progress reviews and updates from various departments.
- Policy and Procedures: Review and amend financial policies and procedures to ensure they are aligned with sound financial management principles and provide control within the business.
- KPI Management: Work towards and support group objectives and KPI's to monitor performance across the business.
- Year-End Liaison: Coordinate with external accountants at year-end, providing all subsidiary financial information required for clearance.
- Daily Reporting & Processing: Oversee daily reporting and processing of subsidiary company transactions, including vendor and customer invoices.
- Quarterly VAT Returns & PAYE: Complete quarterly VAT returns and reconcile PAYE and P32's back to the HMRC portal.
What We're Looking For:
- Part Qualified Accountant: Ideally part qualified ACCA, CIMA
- Leadership & Teamwork: Capable of guiding department heads and managing individuals effectively, while also working closely with senior management.
- Adaptability: Experience in a dynamic business environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and business priorities.
- Financial Policies & Compliance: Strong knowledge of financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and sound financial control.
