Job Purpose
- Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the senior management team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
- Supervision and preparation of end-end accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships
- Preparation of personal and partnership tax returns, including HNWIs
- Preparation of management accounts, including tax planning work
- Presenting statutory year-end accounts and tax returns
- Conducting financial health checks for clients prior to year-end
- Involvement in ad-hoc work projects where required
- Delivering tax and accounting advice to clients
- Supervise junior staff, including reviewing work and supporting their professional development
- Liaising with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries
- Identifying new processes and ways to increase efficiency
- Researching and interpreting changes to taxation and accounting regulations
- Championing your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
- AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified
- A part-qualified candidate with strong experience would also be considered
- Proven track record of bookkeeping, VAT, statutory accounts and management accounts
- Prior experience in Audit would be an advantage
- A proven track record of managing a client portfolio, including monitoring commercial aspects
- Strong working knowledge of software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation
- A team player who can also work autonomously
- A can-do attitude to problem-solving
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
