A leading manufacturer based in South Birmingham are looking to recruit an experienced manufacturing site controller to manage a UK site reporting into an experienced Group Finance Director. The key role focuses on improving processes, creating new ways of working and increasing profitability.

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting while providing key financial insights to drive business performance. You will lead a small finance team and work closely with senior stakeholders to support decision-making and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Experience creating product line sales margin analysis and working in an SME environment with wider reports lines would be ideal.

Ideally you will:

  • Lead the preparation of accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts and financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost control processes along with implementing product line analysis for sales.
  • Lead and develop the finance team to drive efficiency and best practices and work closely with the Group Finance Director on financial planning and business strategy.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring strong financial governance and be a qualified accountant or have relevant manufacturing experience.
