Accounts Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for any candidates who have been in apprentice-style roles, looking to get started in their first standalone role. Our client is looking for a bright and engaging candidate with experience within accounts and a good understanding of the whole accounting function

You will work collaboratively within a busy team, so communication skills are vital. The role will include statement reconciliation and confidently handling complex queries. . Some experience within purchase ledger would be beneficial as this is a long -term contract role, where our client is looking for someone to come in and hit the ground running ASAP.

• Have experience within accounts gained from an apprentice-style role, where you had to process invoices, complete statement reconciliations and query resolution
• Be a self-assured individual who is confident when following your own initiative and can communicate with stakeholders across the company
• An individual with a high attention to detail, and is quick to pick up new accounting software
• Available immediately because our client needs someone ASAP

• A long-term contract position, in a prominent business, that will open the doors for a permanent contract in the future
