Description
- Daily Sales reporting.
- Updating cashflows daily.
- Completing necessary drawdowns and transfers of funds to cover payments.
- Updating the cashbook and posting adhoc payments and receipts.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts daily and investigating errors.
- Assisting with monthly management accounts including posting accruals and prepayments.
- Assisting in preparation of management pack.
- Participate in Audits.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Actively studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
- Good knowledge of accounting software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
