Description
- Supporting the finance team in daily accounting tasks
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports
- Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of budgets or forecasts
- Participating in tax audits and payroll
- Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Developing and documenting business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Assisting in the development of budgets and financial plans for the company
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting & Finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong ethics, with a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
