As a Part-time Accounts Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, performing monthly account reconciliations, and preparing detailed account reports. You will also gain valuable experience by assisting with year-end accounts and quarterly VAT submissions. This role offers a great opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant, is highly desirable. This includes a proven track record of managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing financial statements.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail by ensuring all tasks are completed with a high degree including able to meticulously check work for errors.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, with prior experience using QuickBooks, which would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Extensive experience in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, reconciling statements. Proficient in handling VAT submissions, with a thorough understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
