Henderson Scott Finance and Accounting are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a rapidly growing global services company located near Coventry. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role provides a chance to make a significant impact in a successful business.

Key areas of responsibilities:

  • Manage supplier payments and reconcile accounts.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense claims in a timely manner.
  • Monitor outstanding debts and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure smooth office operations.
  • Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and administrative tasks.

Your Profile:

  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Excellent intuitive skills for identifying issues and solving problems proactively.
  • Proficient in accounting to generate accurate reports and ensure compliance.
  • Ability to implement new processes to improve efficiency and streamline operations.

Salary and benefits

  • £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
  • Hybrid working ( 1 day from home)
  • 28 days holiday
  • 37-hour week (Mon - Fri 9-5)
  • Study support considered if required
