The company - The UK's market leader in electropolishing and chemical surface treatment processesworking hours - 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday Pay - £12.25phtemp to perm based - Birmingham B5 The role - Perform as Production Admin Assistant supporting the Production Manager in the smooth running of the Sub-Contract Department as well as performing front line reception dutiesKey responsibilities - * Act as liaison between customers and the Production Manager by phone or email.* Manage the production, distribution and filing of all documentation relevant to the sub-contract department work processes including job cards, sample forms, despatch notes and invoices holiday cover for the Chemical orders and invoicing.* Ensure the Production Department Diary is maintained updated daily and that work T-Cards are produced for the Production T-Card Planning Board.* Aid the Production Manager in the maintenance and updating of the Production T-Card Planning Board.* Organise carrier collections when required for despatch of completed work, ensuring work is packed ready for collection.* Maintain production spreadsheets* Provide any information/data required for weekly Operations Meetings and attend meetings in absence of Production Manager* Support the Production Manager in the resolution of Non-Conformances within the department.* Support the Production Manager in the control of human resources for the smooth operation of the department.* Support the Production Manager in the maintenance of good Health & Safety practice and housekeeping levels.* Deputise for Production Manager when required* Maintain the factory stationery levels eg Holiday Forms, Absence Forms, Clock Cards etc* Maintain all relevant Consumable stock levels.* Ensure all details from holiday forms are entered onto the Factory holiday planner.* Ensure all completed holiday forms, absence forms and change of personal data forms are given to the Business Administrator.* Provide Admin support to the Group Operations Manager in the maintenance of all records and documentation for ISO9001 and ISO14001 relevant to the sub-contract department. * Monitor all sub-contract consumable stocks and ensure levels are maintained.* Support the Production Manager in the purchase process for sub-contract consumables (eg slings) including liaison with the Production Manager, suppliers and Accounts department and the production of purchase documentation. * Support the Production Manager in the management of maintenance sub-contractor visits.* Provide support to the Admin/Accounts department such as producing documentation for Chemical Product Sales and credit control when required. * Ensure all processes and procedures set are followed as documented by the company's management system to achieve the output of expected quality, environmental and health and safety requirements.* Support the company to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.* Manage waste streams including waste segregation requirements.* Aid in the future development of the Quality/Environmental/Health & Safety Systems.* Scanning, updating spread sheets (calibration and service records)* General duties as required, other reasonable requestsTraining - Training for this position will be provided as part of the Company Induction procedure. The position will have a probationary period of an initial 3 months during which there will be reviews of progress made, suitability for the position and any questions answered.
