Project Lead

Location: Birmingham6-month Contract Hybrid Work PatternAbout the Role: Hays is currently working with a Local Council to recruit a Project Lead for their new Waste Service team. This role is crucial for the successful launch of the new waste service, starting at the end of April. The Project Lead will manage both external and internal communications to ensure that residents and employees are well-informed about the new service.Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate the new service to over 320,000 residents, considering ongoing strike action.
• Ensure all social media communications are issued timely and effectively.
• Liaise with councillors on engagement activities and direct them to tools on SharePoint.
• Maintain the project plan on track from a communications perspective.
• Drive positive changes in the branding of the service.
• Collaborate with the engagement team to ensure the project stays on track.

Requirements:

• Experience in running projects and recognizing priorities.
• Basic coordination skills.
