In this role, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for learning to diagnose and repair mechanical power presses on-site, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will also perform routine maintenance and inspections, collaborating with clients to address complex issues effectively. As part of your development, you'll gain hands-on experience and technical knowledge to work independently and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have an electrical bias with experience working on hydraulic systems and a strong interest in Power Press Machines. Experience in an engineering or maintenance environment is beneficial, but full training will be provided. A clean driving license is essential, as this role involves nationwide travel to client sites.
The Role:
- Receive hands-on training to become an expert in diagnosing and repairing mechanical power presses, hydraulic systems, and related equipment.
- routine maintenance, system overhauls, and ensuring optimal performance on-site.
- Travel across the UK to various client sites, offering a mix of practical engineering experience and client interaction.
The Person:
- Electrical background, eager to expand their knowledge into mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- A strong passion for learning and career development.
- Experience in electrical engineering, preferably in maintenance or repair.
- A clean driver's license is essential
