Following ongoing investment, the firm are now recruiting for an O365 Modern Workplace Engineer to assist in the creation, deployment, and support of cloud-based Modern Workplace technology solutions with a Microsoft focus.

Description

  • As the O365 Modern Workplace Engineer, you will develop and deploy modern workplace solutions using cloud technologies, with a specific focus on the Office365 suite of applications.
  • You will have a project focus on modern workplace applications within Office365, including SharePoint and Teams, covering areas such as data migrations, including all elements of risk and governance.
  • The wider project scope will be varied, and you will cover areas such as tenant migration and amalgamation responsibilities as the organisation grows through mergers and acquisitions.
  • As well as the project responsibilities, you will act as an Administrator for Office365, acting as an escalation point where needed on support issues, such as end-user troubleshooting and licensing issues.
  • The firm has a very strong in-house technology function, so you will collaborate closely with a talented team on the design and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions, with a Modern Workplace focus.
  • You will cover Citrix technologies, supporting a virtualised Windows desktop environment.
  • The role will have the opportunity to offer strategic input, and you will maintain knowledge of the latest technological trends and advancements in the modern workplace.
  • The business are based in the Birmingham area of the West Midlands, but the role will come with the flexibility to be fully remote. However, given the team-based culture of the organistion, you will be available to attend rare team meetings in person at the West Midlands head office on occasion.

Profile

As the successful candidate for the O365 Modern Workplace Engineer position, you will have at least 3 years commercial experience in a Modern Workplace Engineer capacity with:

  • Office365
  • InTune
  • Citrix
  • VMWare
