My client is currently looking to recruit a field-based Automotive Electrician who will fitting Telematics and vehicle camera systems to an array of different vehicles in your area. Working closely with the Engineering and the Service Delivery team, the role of the Automotive Electrician engineer will be to deliver installation and service call services to our diverse customer base.

Automotive Electrician Job Specification:

  • Install and maintain vehicle GPS/GSM tracking and ancillary CANBus related electrical equipment including cameras and DVR equipment to 12/24v vehicles.
  • To adhere to both my clients and their customers health & safety requirements.
  • To ensure personal appearance reflects company guidelines.
  • To install and support a range of equipment and devices to vehicles of all descriptions in accordance with agreed schedules.
  • To take responsibility for the company vehicle and other company-issued equipment.
  • To maintain van stock and be accountable for inventory management.
  • To complete required documentation in relation to work carried out.
