They provide quality & affordable homes for all who access their services.Your new roleThe role of the Income Recovery Officer will be to directly work on managing and monitor the recovery of former tenant arrears. You will work in partnership with the patch based officers and the finance department to effectively communicate with the former tenants to find solutions to any rent arrears. You will maintain a high level of customer service, which will include home visits & virtual meetings with previous tenants to offer support and arranging repayment of debt owed.
What you'll need to succeedThe successful applicant will have previous experience and good knowledge of rent recovery within the social housing sector. You will also have a good understanding of housing & welfare benefits and the legal aspects of income recovery when preparing court papers where necessary.
