This role is based in Birmingham, where you will work in an Accounts Payable team and report into the team's manager. You will enjoy a varied role, with duties including but not being limited to invoice processing, liaising with suppliers to resolve queries and disputes, processing payment runs, reconciling monthly statements, maintaining financial documents and records up to date, and investigating payment issues and unallocated cash. What you will need:

  • Experience with Accounts Payable duties is essential, it is particularly advantageous if you have experience with reconciling account balances and preparation of payment runs.
  • Have a solution oriented and proactive nature to help excel at working autonomously. As well as have a keen eye for detail to effectively identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and be eager to contribute to the teams' cohesive collaboration.
  • Previous experience using accounting software is essential, preferably SAP, Oracle and Sage.
