Midas Recruitment Ltd is delighted to work with this specialist, privately-owned company, based in Birmingham's jewellery quarter that wishes to hire a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant on a permanent (part-time basis), approximately 20 hours per week.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
As the sole book-keeper/accounts person on site, the varied responsibilities will include;
- Using the Sage system to process sales and purchase ledger transactions, performing bank reconciliations, as well as payroll and credit control.
- Liaising with the Financial Controller (based overseas), and with the external accountant/advisor.
Book-keeper Skills and Experience:
- The company seeks an experienced all-round, 'hands-on' accounts person, for this important role in a smaller company environment.
- Comfortable handling responsibility and will have a clear communication style.
- Credible in handling accounts matters with suppliers/customers/banks etc.
