I am recruiting for a experienced Road freight operations/ customer service clerk to join their new start up office based in the Birmingham area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing freight company and progress in the freight forwarding industry!
You will be trained in the below:
- Monitoring roadfreight import/ export operations
- Arranging collections with partners and liaising with overseas offices
- Updating customers
- Arranging collections and deliveries
- Booking ferries
- Liaising with the transport department to plan deliveries and collections
- Planning truck runs
- Handling queries
- Processing of customs documentation
- Sending quotes from hauliers to suppliers
Experience needed:
- Previous groupage operations/ pallet network experience
- Irish market experience
- Bright, outgoing and keen to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- IT literate
Working hours:
- Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
