Business Development Manager - Midlands and SouthWest

The Role :-

  • Work with key broker partners across the Midlands and SouthWest, maintaining an outstanding relationship that positions you and the business as a primary go to insurer in the mid-market space.
  • Key focus on the delivery of pipeline and new business opportunities as well as servicing the existing portfolio
  • Involving the underwriting team in the development opportunities, creating buy-in and positive responses to the pipeline activity
  • Driving results

Expectations:-

  • You will excel in the art of deal-making, engaging with the right individuals in the key broker partners to ensure all angles are covered, and putting yourself in a position to close the deal
  • Working strategically internally and externally to obtain the best solution on complex risks
  • Ability to showcase your negotiation and relationship managements skills, working alongside some of the most experienced underwriters in the market
  • You will be an individual who will view a double-digit growth target as a challenge to excel
