About the Role:
Dunbar Education is looking to recruit a Humanities Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact in secondary schools across Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and educate young minds in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, and Religious Education.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in a relevant Humanities subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
