Our client, a prominent player in the Building Control sector, is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee operations in the Midlands region. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with building control expertise to manage a team of 8-10 surveyors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and providing leadership to a team of 8-10 surveyors in the Midlands
- Ensuring consistent and high-quality building control services
- Winning work
- Developing and implementing regional strategies to meet business objectives
- Coaching and mentoring team members to achieve their professional best
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of building control regulations and standards
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Assessing and mitigating risks in building projects
- Reporting on regional performance and contributing to company-wide goals
Job Requirements:
- Experience in building control within the BC sector
- Competence at 2F and Class 4; Class 3 is advantageous
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of current building control regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Relevant qualifications in building control or related fields
Benefits:
- salary ranging from 70,000 - 80,000 + car allowance + bonus scheme
