Commis Chef-B1
My client is a large restaurant group, looking for a dynamic and talented Commis Chef to their brand-new opening, based in one of the leading retail spots in Birmingham City Centre.
The duties and responsibilities of the Commis Chef are:
Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and making sauces to set the stage for delicious dishes
Assist during service by cooking and plating dishes that meet the cafés high standards.
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, following all food safety regulations.
Learn traditional cooking techniques from experienced chefs to enhance your skills.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and effective communication.
The ideal Commis Chef will:
Show a strong work ethic and commitment to efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain attention to detail in following recipes and presentation standards.
Be a team player, collaborating effectively with kitchen staff.
Adapt to various tasks and changing demands during service.
Have a genuine eagerness to learn and develop culinary skills, especially in Lebanese and Persian cuisine.
Salary: From £24,960 per annum
Schedule: 5/7-day operation
