Here at TSA surveying, we are representing a global client who are actively looking to expand their building surveying team across Birmingham. The client has a flexible working scheme which aims to empower their employees by allowing new concepts to be heard which will positively aid the company current systems and delivery of work. They are looking to build on their team of three individuals, a graduate, a senior building surveyor and the current associate director. The successful candidate will head up the current team and report directly to the divisional director who heads up the building surveying team.

The client is looking for an experienced building surveyor with a preferred background in education who is based out of the West midlands to successful led the current team in the delivery of a combination of project and survey related work which will include working across multi-sectors. A main responsibility will be to join the current team and be able to successful aid the delivery of work immediately alongside using your knowledge and skills to help develop the current team. In addition, an expectation will be placed to have the ability to make positive relationship with new clients to bring in new work for the company. The company has previously successfully delivered projects ranging from £3m to £5m. Furthermore, the client we are representing emphasised that within this role, they are looking for a willing individual who is looking to emphasis new challenges and has strong leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have several years experience in project management with an ideal background within the education sector. Alongside this, having a full membership of RICS is required and an individual with strong leadership skills is something highly valued by our client. In addition, the company aims to empower their employees by providing them with opportunities to make key decisions which have great importance where you will be responsible for the success of the project. This client has strong established relationships around the globe which opens opportunities to complete work in locations such as, the Caribbean and Dubai.
