Managing Director (Accountancy Background), West Midlands, up to £100k + Bonus + Benefits
My client is a Steel Stockholder & Processor, they are actively looking to recruit a proven and commercially driven Managing Director. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage a team, develop, and implement business strategies, build, and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and drive growth and profitability for the company.
Relevant Experience: -
Experience of senior management position with profit and loss responsibility, ideally operating as a Managing Director or General Manager.
Experience of development and implementation of business strategies.
Proven track record of delivering growth.
Setting and controlling budgets.
Setting sales targets and driving performance.
Managing customer and supplier relationships.
Experience of negotiating with customers and suppliers, ideally with large corporate organisations.

Requirements: -
Essential ACA qualified ideally ICAEW Chartered Accountant
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and implement business strategies.
Acute problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
An aptitude for nurturing professional relationships with business partners.
Manager level or above from one of the following accountancy firms - PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or Grant Thornton. Industry-specific experience is not mandatory; they value intelligence and the capacity for rapid learning.
You must be UK based and live within a commutable distance of Birmingham.
