Channel Manager|National Account Manager£55,000 + benefitsNational
Purpose of Role: Manage national and key accounts within the allocated channel/sector, ensuring the Customer Engagement team is fully briefed to execute the sales plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sector plan.
- Collaborate with field sales and Customer Engagement teams.
- Deliver sales forecasts, revenue, and EBIT from assigned accounts.
- Create an account contact matrix and conduct monthly site visits.
- Review and manage contracts, ensuring timely renewals.
- Work closely with Supply Chain for OTIF delivery and manage product assortments.
- Implement price increases and brief product specification changes.
- Manage account profitability and financial performance.
- Develop and retain existing business and identify new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in National Account Management, preferably in foodservice.
- Experienced HORECA highly beneficial
- Strong sales skills and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated, dynamic, and a team player.
- Ability to influence and present at all levels.
Financial Responsibility:
- Manage a minimum of £5m+ sales value across a range of customers.
