Site Engineer
Based in Central Birmingham
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer. The client is requiring a Site Engineer on an construction project, the company is a market leader and involved with major projects across the United Kingdom. This will be a great opportunity to gain experience with a Tier 1 contractor and develop yourself further.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all permits ready for site work to commence
- Ensure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completed
- Setting out and surveying
- Managing subcontractors
- Manage distribution of information
- Write and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works
- Liaising with the client and other key stakeholders
- Checking design drawings and reporting any issues or inconsistencies
- Liaise with other Sections to ensure a smooth flow of work.
- Regularly review procedures to ensure they are as efficient as possible.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Worked on construction projects in the past
- Previous Tier 1 contractor experience
- CSCS Card
- Confident at setting out on site and producing QA reports, completing engineering documentation
- Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or equal experience
