Building Surveyor required to work with leading housing association based in Birmingham region.

My client requires an experienced and professional building surveyors to help drive forward their ambitious property investment programs.

You will be part of the housing associations technical team, customer facing and focusing on domestic property disrepairs, structural projects and investment programs.

In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Building Surveyor will involve:

Job role:

Delivering major works and investment programs ensuring it maximizes customer involvement and delivery against Key Performance Indicators.

Delivering disrepair processes and activities on a case-by-case basis.

Implementation of a systematic approach to identifying and resolving complex building defects and insurance claims across property archetypes.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role, working across a diverse team, providing a broad range of technical services.

Attainment of a recognized qualification in a building related subject, preferably MRICS or equivalent experience and skill level.

A strong understanding of regulation and contractual requirements in a housing environment

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to form strong connections internally as well as externally with our customers.

Experience in budgetary management and good analytical evaluation skills, with ability to exercise sound professional judgement and reach conclusions.

Experience of updating an asset management system and using a housing management system and GIS.

Salary: £43,889
