Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 neg + bonus

Benefits: Hybrid vehicle or circa £5000 car allowance, pension, death in service, 25 days annual leave, phone & laptop

The role of the Business Development Manager - Fire Detection & Security Systems will involve:

  • Business Development Manager position selling the design, supply & installation services of fire & security systems
  • All of your time will be spent selling to end users & facilities management companies
  • Typical sector would include: education, hospitality, warehouses, private, property management and retail
  • Working on projects such as: schools, restaurants, clubs, business parks, theatres etc
  • Project order values can vary from £5k - £200k
  • Turnover target first one will be circa £500k

The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager - Fire Detection & Security Systems with:

  • Must have field sales experience in the fire or security sector
  • Ideally will have a sound knowledge of various communication systems such as: fire alarms, access controls, telecoms, CCTV, intruder alarms & door access
  • Ideally be aware of the industry standards
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Stable career background
  • Attention to detail and methodical organisational skills
