Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi-Disciplined Fire & Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, servicing, and commissioning of a wide range of Fire and Security systems. You will be working on both commercial and residential projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety and security for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and commission Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, and Access Control Systems.
- Plan and execute installation and project work, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on fire and security systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including BS5839, BS5266, and other relevant codes of practice.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and resolving any on-site issues.
- Complete relevant paperwork and reports following installation or maintenance visits.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve the goals of each project.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in installing and maintaining fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
- Knowledge of British Standards relevant to fire and security systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
